Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept any kind of insurance?
I am not currently on any insurance company networks. Sometimes, individuals have plans with out of network coverage. I can provide a monthly superbill when requested. Please know that insurance reimbursements are often complicated and depend on diagnosis and that I cannot guarantee reimbursement. I encourage everyone to call their insurance directly to learn about their own mental health coverage.
Do you offer services on a sliding scale?
Because I believe in accessible mental health care and supporting new professionals, I have made space in my practice for a limited number of sliding scale treatments. These appointments do not occur on the "prime" hours, meaning after school and after work. Please check with me directly and we can discuss options. If I cannot meet your needs, I possibly can refer you to someone or an agency that can.
I'm not sure what I need or what to do.
Often, we are unsure of what we need and whether or not therapy is the answer. I can offer a free initial phone consultation to support you in identifying what the next steps are for you. I can provide my initial clinical impressions and thoughts regarding what you or your child are going through.
Do you offer every other week sessions?
I understand that therapy is a financial and time commitment and weekly therapy can be a struggle. I work with clients weekly in order to be efficient with our work and weekly work allows me to attune more quickly.
